Shu Uemura‘s new Colour Atelier eyeshadow features 21 Tokyo-inspired shades that make it super easy to step UP your make-up repertoire (yassss hunnie). I love it because you can customize your own palette with shades inspired by different aspects of Tokyo – from the culture to the architecture and nature. How cool is that! With finishes ranging from matte to pearl to my fav, iridescent (which transforms according to the light available), there’s something for literally everyone. And I’m extra excited because I got to partner with them to create one of my own + a look to go with!

I choseĀ Awayuki white 906 (with a touch of shimmer that looks awesome in the inner corners + brow bone), Tohki kahki 892 (dark brown), Omotesando gray 988 (a stunning dark gray), Nendo brown 856 (medium brown) because I feel like these are always the most-used colours in any palette I buy – and always end up going the quickest. This combo is super versatile and offers buildable colour that goes from day to night easily – for day I’d do the white on my inner corners and the medium brown all over the lid, and for night I’d play with them all!
